Our Structure

The Association is run by the General Assembly, which takes place at least once a year. It is composed of delegates of all members, and has the decision power. The General Assembly deals with the general policy of the Association, approves accounts and budgets and carries other functions described in the statutes.

During the year the Managing Committee, which acts under the mandate of the General Assembly, takes care of the smooth running of the Association and follows up progress. It meets several times per year.

The Association is headed by its President, Dr Malcolm Rochefort , also Technical Director of Kingspan Insulation Ltd and its two Vice Presidents Mr Thomas Seeger and Ir Paul Werbrouck.

The Secretariat manages the activities of BING. It is headed by Mr Oliver Loebel.  

Three committees report to the Managing Committee and develop activities in three major areas:

• The Technical Committee
• The Safety, Health and Environment Committee
• The Marketing and Promotional Committee

Every BING member is entitled to participate in these three committees.
