Major applications of polyurethane rigid insulation

Polyurethane rigid insulation can be used in the new built as well as for renovation purposes.

Insulation boards for roofing, walls, floors and ceilings

  • are always covered with a facing material which adds specific properties and finishes (eg. aluminium, bituminous coated fibre glass, plasterboard,…)
  • can be used in all building types: residential, commercial and industrial
  • are normally hidden, eg behind a wall or under a waterproofing membrane

Sandwich panels for roofing and walls

  • made with rigid facings usually based on metal
  • mainly used in commercial and industrial buildings, as well as for refrigeration and cold-storage units
  • lightweight, but providing excellent load-bearing capability
  • variety of profiles, finishes and thicknesses available
  • enable attractive building design
  • quick and easy to erect

Blocks for insulating building equipment and industrial installations

  • cut and shaped to required dimensions
  • used in pipe insulation for transport of oils, chemicals, district heating or cooling systems

Spray applied insulation for roofing, walls, floors and ceilings

  • it is an extremely versatile and robust method of improving the insulation and energy efficiency of buildings
  • the spray applied polyurethane insulation product gives a continuous layer of insulating foam which bonds onto any type of surface. It also has the benefit of being able to form itself to any shape or profile of surface; consequently it is a very practical way of insulating all types of buildings
  • continuous, seamless surface eliminates cold bridging
